The countdown to SMM Hamburg 2026, the world’s leading maritime trade fair, has begun. T-ISS Safety Suppliers is proud to announce the launch of three new safety products that further expand our portfolio of SOLAS-compliant equipment for commercial vessels, offshore installations and shipyards.

Introducing Three New Additions to the T-ISS Product Range
Proper storage is essential to ensure lifejackets remain protected, accessible and ready for immediate use during an emergency. Our new Lifejacket Storage Box has been specifically developed for demanding marine and offshore environments.
Manufactured from premium Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP), the storage box offers exceptional durability while resisting corrosion, UV radiation and harsh weather conditions. Stainless steel 316 hardware, EPDM weather seals and a reinforced construction ensure years of reliable service, even in exposed offshore locations. The storage box can be supplied individually or as part of a complete safety equipment package and is available with custom sizing and safety labelling options.
Whether installed onboard commercial vessels, offshore platforms, ports or industrial terminals, the Lifejacket Storage Box provides a clean, secure and highly visible storage solution for life-saving equipment
Embarkation ladders are exposed to constant UV radiation, saltwater, dirt and harsh weather conditions. Without adequate protection, these factors can significantly reduce their service life.
The new T-ISS Embarkation Ladder Cover has been designed to protect SOLAS embarkation ladders while they are stored on deck. Manufactured from durable, weather-resistant materials, the cover shields the ladder from environmental exposure, helping to extend its operational life while keeping it clean and immediately ready for deployment.
The cover is available in multiple sizes and can be customised to fit various ladder configurations, making it suitable for both newbuilds and retrofit installations. It is a simple but highly effective solution that supports long-term maintenance and reduces replacement costs.
Safe maintenance of lifeboats and rescue boats remains one of the highest priorities within the maritime industry. The new T-ISS TriHook Safety Connection Plate has been developed to provide a safe and dependable connection between the rescue boat release hook, lifting falls and the mandatory Fall Preventer Devices (FPDs) used during inspection, maintenance and recovery operations.
Manufactured from high-quality AISI 316 stainless steel, the TriHook offers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life in demanding marine environments. Its robust design ensures optimal load distribution while allowing fast and straightforward attachment of lifting equipment.
The original connection plate has been fully strength tested for a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 3,500 kg and has been designed in accordance with SOLAS and LSA Code requirements. The result is a reliable solution that improves safety during one of the most critical maintenance operations carried out onboard.
