Description
Extreme weather conditions can cause leakage of your hatch covers, which can lead to damage to the cargo being transported. Hatch Cover Blueliner Tape keeps moisture out and ensures a tight seal that’s weather and smoke resistant. The primary purpose of hatch cover blueliner tape is to seal and secure hatch covers on cargo ships. Hatch covers are critical components of a ship’s structure that protect the cargo hold from water ingress, especially during rough seas or inclement weather.
By effectively sealing hatch covers, this tape helps protect the cargo inside the ship from water damage. This can be particularly crucial for goods that are sensitive to moisture or require a dry environment during transport. In addition to cargo protection, hatch cover blueliner tape also plays a role in maintaining the ship’s overall watertight integrity, which is crucial for safety at sea.
Hatch Cover Blueliner tape has extraordinary strength, great adhesion, and is extremely flexible. The tape is easily recognizable by the blue top layer of modified PE material. This material gives the highest protection under extreme conditions. The color blue makes the tape recognizable from other SOLAS maritime safety tapes.
