Description
The Asbestos safety kit is a product to safely remove asbestos debris during the operation of a vessel. The kit allows your crew to remove asbestos materials in a safe way. This is important for the safety of your crew on board. Asbestos fibers are extremely small and can be inhaled or ingested without being easily detected by our senses. Once inhaled, these fibers can become lodged in the lungs or other parts of the respiratory system. This can cause serious harm.
Our kit is not meant for large-scale asbestos removal. For example, it is not suitable during the docking of the vessel. All the items in the Asbestos Safety kit are in line with the EU quality standards for asbestos removal. These regulations aim to protect workers, residents, and the environment from the risks associated with asbestos exposure.
The Asbestos Safety kit comes with a clear instruction manual. This manual shows you how to safely use the items inside the kit. The kit also comes with warning stickers, Personal Protective Equipment, and a HEPA vacuum cleaner including cleaner bags and Asbestos waste bags. For a full list of items, see below.
