Low Location Lighting

Low Location Lighting (LLL) is a safety measure used on ships and vessels to enhance visibility. Low location light gets its name from its placement, close to the ground. In the case of smoke-filled corridors during a fire, LLL remains visible. The photoluminescent stripes or tapes guide occupants to safety. LLL can be placed at lower sections of walls, staircases, handrails, and escape route markers in critical areas of the ship.

You can use our glowing tapes, strips, and LED systems to create highly visible escape routes according to IMO, SOLAS, and ISO regulations. T-ISS is specialized in LLL systems on Cruise Liners & Ferries. We are also accredited by DNV to execute Low Location Lighting measurement services. You can read more about this service here.
