The FI-BLECON0806 Economy Fire Blanket, or Econ Fire Blanket, offers a cost-effective solution for containing fires in combustion-engine and electric vehicles. With a peak temperature resistance of 1100°C (2000°F), it’s ideal for use in parking garages, malls, ferries, and other high-risk areas. Reusable for standard car fires, it is single-use for EV fires due to the intensity of lithium battery incidents. By cutting off oxygen, it reduces smoke, toxic fumes, and fire spread.

Made from 70% high-quality silica with glass fiber, the blanket is durable, lightweight, and fire-resistant during deployment.

Tested to DIN EN 13501-1 (A1 certified by KIWA/MPA) and ASTM D6413 standards, it meets international fire safety regulations. It can be deployed by two people using large colored loops and comes in a sturdy smart bag. Optional storage solutions include a cabinet, trolley, or backpack for quick access.
