What is Precoiled Pipe Marking?
Precoiled Pipe Marking is a fast, flexible, and non-permanent pipe marking solution for pipe identification in harsh environments. Designed for quick installation without adhesive, it is ideal for dirty, oily, or rough pipe surfaces—commonly found in maritime, offshore, petrochemical, and refinery settings.
The markers are made from high-quality, durable materials that are UV-, scratch-, chemical-, and seawater-resistant, with temperature resistance up to 130 °C. They are removable, making them suitable for temporary use or installations that require frequent updates. Customization options include GHS symbols, warning signs, QR or barcodes, and other visual identifiers to meet specific safety and compliance needs.
How to use PreCoiled Pipe Marking
Precoiled Pipe Marking is designed for quick and tool-free installation. The marker is wrapped around the pipe and secured using the included adhesive sealing strip, making it easy to apply even on rough, oily, or dirty surfaces. Once in place, the marker provides clear, durable identification that can be removed or replaced as needed—ideal for temporary applications or systems that change frequently.

Standards and Regulations
Precoiled Pipe Marking can be used in accordance with ISO 14726 and ISO 20560-1, the internationally recognized standards for pipe identification. These standards define how piping systems should be marked in terms of color coding, flow direction, and substance identification.
By aligning with these guidelines, Precoiled Pipe Marking contributes to a safer working environment, helps prevent accidents, and supports emergency response—both on vessels and in industrial facilities.
Important Note
While Precoiled Pipe Marking is quick and easy to install, it is a non-permanent solution. Over time, moisture or dirt can collect under the unsealed edges, potentially leading to corrosion—especially on metal surfaces.
For permanent or long-term marking in environments with high moisture or exposure, we recommend using our PolyesPro® adhesive pipe markers, which offer a secure seal and long-lasting protection.
