The T-ISS Lifeboat Repair Kit is designed for strong, long-lasting repairs to GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) surfaces. Once fully cured, the material becomes very hard—rated 100 on the Rockwell R scale—which means it can withstand tough marine conditions. The bonding strength has been tested to 210 bar according to ASTM D1002, showing it adheres securely to surfaces. It also handles high pressure, with a compressive strength of 1,034 kg/cm² (14,500 psi) based on ASTM D695 tests. In addition, the material resists bending and cracking, proven by a flexural strength of 912 kg/cm² (13,600 psi), tested to ASTM B790. These properties make the kit a dependable choice for repairing structural damage on lifeboats and other GRP equipment.
