Photoluminescent Rope

Photoluminescent Rope is a glow-in-the-dark rope with photoluminescent properties that absorb light from natural or artificial sources.

What is Photoluminescent Rope?

Photoluminescent Rope is a glow-in-the-dark rope designed for use in the maritime industry. It is made from high-quality resin materials with photoluminescent properties that absorb light from natural or artificial sources. Once charged, the rope emits visible light in darkness for 8 to 12 hours, providing reliable illumination without electricity.

This type of rope is a passive, energy-efficient solution that helps enhance safety and visibility on ships, vessels, and offshore platforms. It can be used to mark escape routes, equipment, or pathways, especially in low-light or emergency conditions. Because the rope does not require a power source, it is ideal for use during power failures or in areas where electrical systems are impractical.

Photoluminescent Rope is part of our Low Location Lighting (LLL) range. LLL systems are placed close to the ground to guide people safely in the event of reduced visibility. The rope’s flexibility, durability, and zero-maintenance design make it a practical addition to any vessel’s safety setup.
