What is Barrier Tape?
Barrier tape is a brightly colored, non-adhesive PVC tape used to cordon off areas and indicate potential hazards. It’s commonly referred to as Caution Tape or Safety Tape and plays a key role in visual communication for safety management. The tape comes in a 500-meter roll within a convenient dispenser box, making it easy to tear off the needed length and tie it to fencing, cones, or other fixed points.
The tape is available in high-contrast color combinations, such as black/yellow to signal potential danger (e.g. on construction sites), and red/white to mark immediate hazards or restricted zones, often used by law enforcement and emergency services.
