At T-ISS, we offer the best release hooks available for life rafts and rescue boats used in the maritime industry. Release hooks are important for a safe and sufficient evacuation in case of an emergency onboard. In this item, we show you our different hooks so you can determine which is best for your vessel.
The T-ISS Life raft/Rescue boat hook PX01
Our first release hook is the T-ISS Life raft / Rescue boat hook PX01. This is a combined automatic hook that can handle rescue boats and life rafts up to a safe working load of 35kN. It is the strongest hook available. The PX01 will increase safety, as the crew only needs to familiarize themselves with one hook, instead of two. There is no second hook, dangerously swinging around when lowering.
The T-ISS Life raft hook PX02
Our second hook, the PXO2, is an automatic release hook for davit launched life rafts. This one can handle a safe working load of 25kN. The hook can be operated automatically (releasing when the rafts enter the water) or manually.
The T-ISS Rescue boat hook PX03
Our third release one is The T-ISS Rescue boat hook PX03, which can handle a safe working load of 15 kN. This hook can be operated manually by one person by pushing the release handle in the upward position. This hook is used for rescue boats with a maximum weight of 1500 kg.
