What is the Watermist Stick?
The FI-WMS26 Watermist Stick is a lightweight, maneuverable firefighting tool designed to spray a fine water mist beneath or alongside burning vehicles. It is especially useful in confined areas such as parking garages and ferries, where space is limited. The applicator cools the vehicle before it is covered with a fire blanket and provides personal protection by forming a barrier between the user and the heat source.
As part of the Fire Isolator concept, FI-WMS26Â plays a key role in preparing the fire scene for further suppression using tools like the Fire Blanket, Watermist Lance, or Aerosol Units.
How do you use the FI-WMS26 Watermist Stick?
The Watermist Stick is made of three lightweight aluminium segments that connect to form a compact, easy-to-handle tool. Once attached to a water supply, it can be positioned under or next to the burning vehicle to apply the mist directly where it is needed. This rapid cooling improves the effectiveness of the overall fire suppression process.
