Fire Isolator will make its debut and be present for the first time at Interschutz in June 2022. This leading global firefighting trade show will also be the place and time we present Fire Isolator to a global audience for the first time at Interschutz. The urgency for having a strategy to fight and control lithium-ion fires is growing, after multiple EVs spontaneously ignited and caused chaos and damage, both on land and on ferries or car carriers.
The FireIsolator concept is a tested and proven method to control EV fires. In our tests, all water-based methods were unsuccessful, at least for extinguishing the burning battery. The FireIsolator concept was devised to minimize collateral damage and to save time until the car can be safely removed and submerged in an immersion container.
The FireIsolator concept will be present at Interschutz with all three components of the concept:
– the VR0906Li high-temperature resistant fire blanket
– the aerosol units
– the water mist lance
Visit our stand at Interschutz for more information on the FireIsolator concept for fighting and controlling EV car fires: stand number F57 in Hall 12.
Interschutz takes place in Hannover from 20-25 June, 2022.
